KOH YAO NOI: A TROPICAL ISLAND PARADISE
Koh Yao Noi in the Phang-Nang Bay is located between Phuket and Krabi. Being a nature reserve of rich flora and fauna, it is still considered one of Thailand’s “Virgin Islands”. With only 5000 inhabitants, mostly fishermen and farmers, it retains the peaceful and authentic atmosphere of an earlier area.

From Phuket area, departures to Koh Yao Noi are from Bang Rong Pier.

Local buses leave from the fresh market in Phuket town to Bang Rong Pier everyday from 9:00a.m.to1:00p.m. After 1 pm take a taxi.

From the airport, you get a taxi direct to Bang Rong pier


Boats leave Bang Rong Pier for Koh Yao Noi everyday at: 08.30/ 09:40 / 11:00 /12.30/ 15:00 /16.00/ 17:30 hrs. (about 30 minutes for speedboat and 1 hour by longtail.)

When you arrive on Koh Yao NOI, (NOT Koh Yao YAI) take a taxi to Ulmer’s Nature Lodge/ Island Yoga in Takhao Village. The price is 100 Baht per person. (about 30 minutes)

  

From Krabi area, departures to Koh Yao Noi are from Tha Lane Pier.

You can take a taxi to Tha Lane Pier from Ao nang, Krabi town and from the Krabi Airport.

The less expensive option is to go the local way. Local buses leave from near Krabi Town bus station to Tha Lane Pier at: 9am, 10am 12noon 3pm and 4pm

Before 1pm, 2pm, 3pm share taxis leave from the center of Krabi town to Tha Lane near the Gorillas holding traffic lights in front of the Voda supermarket. Generally they leave on the hour from 9am-1pm.

Boats leave the pier for Koh Yao Noi everyday at 10:00am, 11am, 1pm, 4pm and 5pm (about 30 minutes by speedboat and 1 hour by longtail)


When you arrive in Koh Yao Noi, call us to meet you, or take a taxi to Ulmer’s Nature Lodge/Island Yoga. (5 minutes by taxi from the pier)

There is also a daily speedboat from Ao Nang at 11.00am and Railay beach at 10.30am (high season only) (IF you arrive via this option, you will arrive at a different pier and the taxi from the pier will be 30 minutes to Island Yoga. 100 Baht per person)
